The Good Place Clinic is a therapy practice based in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. This app is operated by The Good Place Clinic. We’re your therapy team - Neha Achrekar and Hemant Rehani - and a small support team.

What you share with your therapist stays between you and your therapist. The few situations where we must break confidentiality (risk of harm to yourself or others, court order, etc.) are the same ones any licensed therapist in India follows.

Your session notes are encrypted at rest. The only people who can read them are your therapist(s) and authorised support staff who help with scheduling and billing.

We use AI to help our therapists summarise sessions and prepare for your next one. Your text and audio go to carefully-selected AI providers under strict confidentiality terms; nothing is used to train public models. You can ask us to opt your data out of AI summarisation any time by emailing hello@thegoodplaceclinic.com.

We collect what we need to provide therapy and run the clinic: name, email, phone, payment records, session notes, and anything you choose to share in chat or intake. We store it in India + Singapore on enterprise-grade infrastructure.

You can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it (subject to medical records retention requirements under Indian law) by emailing us.

You can book individual sessions, prepay for a package (block of sessions), or top up chat credits for messaging your therapist between sessions. Refunds for unused package sessions are available up to 90 days after purchase. Chat credits are non-refundable but never expire while your account is active.

Cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours before the start time and you get a full refund. Between 24 and 2 hours before, a flat Rs 500 cancellation fee applies and the rest is refunded. Under 2 hours before, or a no-show, is not refunded, because the time stayed held for you.

Every refund is reviewed by your therapist and returned to your original payment method. The full policy, including how session credits on a package are treated, is on the cancellation policy page.

By signing up you allow us to contact you about your sessions, payments, and account via email and WhatsApp. We don’t send marketing without separate consent.

If we make a material change to these terms, we’ll notify you in-app and via email before the change takes effect.
